What can I expect at Camp Ridgedale?
Your camper should get ready to be a part of the BEST SUMMER EVER! There are 10 uniquely themed weeks over the course of the summer, with related crafts, science experiments, indoor and outdoor games and recreation, songs, pool time, field trips, and Bible stories.
Each day, campers get to participate in Morning Assembly with fun worship and information about the day so they can be prepared. Then they travel through the day with their Cabin and Counselors to each of the fun and engaging activities listed above. Campers eat lunch on-campus with their friends (with some spontaneous dance parties involved) and get to have a great day until they are picked up in the afternoon! If this sounds like a great time, don’t hesitate to register your camper for one of the limited spots of our summer!

Counselor in Training Program

Camp Ridgedale features a unique way for campers who are no longer able to participate in our Standard Elementary programming to stay involved and gain valuable leadership skills: The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program! Upon completion of the CIT program, campers will have earned recorded volunteer hours and a letter of recommendation from their CIT Coordinator.

The CIT Program is split into two sections to best suit your camper’s age-specific needs: CIT Juniors & CITs.
The CIT Junior program exists with younger CITs in mind, who are mature enough to help lead our Elementary campers but still want to have all the fun Camp Ridgedale has to offer! This program is available to campers who have completed grades 6-7 by May 2024. There is an option for these campers to graduate in to the CIT program upon completion of the CIT Junior program – Just ask us how!
The CIT Program exists for older middle and high schoolers in mind, who have the ability to help lead campers alongside a Counselor, but aren’t old enough to be hired on as a Counselor just yet. This program is available to campers who have completed grades 8-12 by May 2024. This is a great way for your students to gain leadership skills, experience working with children, to practice both teamwork and individual initiative, and to have a fun time doing it!
