Ridgedale Recreation Ministry

          The Ridgedale Recreation Ministry provides recreational activities for members and guests of both Ridgedale Baptist Church and our surrounding community.  Our programs are designed to promote evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and service.  Programs are available for all ages - from preschool children to Senior Adults.

Five Star Baseball and Softball

Our newest endeavor comes in Spring 2013 with the introduction of "Five Star Baseball and Softball."  We are currently registering for boys and girls ages 4-9.  In addition to focusing on your child's baseball and softball skill development (the "Five Tools"), the league will seek to focus on your child's physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual development.  For more information, click the link above.

If practices or games are in question due to weather, please call our weather line at 553-5655.  Updates will be posted by 4:30pm on weekdays and 8:00am on Saturdays.

Golf League
            Our Golf League runs on Tuesdays from mid-April through September.  In 2013, the league will be starting on April 23rd.  Tee Times are approx. 4:30 - 5:30pm each week.  The Golf League is designed to promote fellowship and opportunities to share the love of Christ among fellow golfers.  Click the link for more info.

VIM Golf Tournament

          The Randy Smith-VIM Golf Classic takes place each summer to benefit the efforts of the Volunteers in Medicine clinic in Hamilton County.  Together, we have raised over $110,000 to assist the low-income uninsured of our county.  The 7th Annual Golf Classic will be on Friday, July 26th, 2013.  For more information on the clinic or to download a registration form for the tournament , go to: www.vim-chatt.org

Softball
          Historically, the Ridgedale Baptist Softball League has begun play in early April and finishes the last week of June. For the 2013 Season, we are currently evaluating when, how, and if we can conduct the league in light of our introduction of Five Star Baseball and Softball this Spring for children ages 4-9.  Most likely, if there is enough interest, an abbreviated season will be offered this Summer.
